The Institute of Media and Journalism of USI Faculty of Communication Sciences in cooperation with CORSI and the Media & Politics Department of the Institute of Mass Communication, University of Zurich, will organise the round table “The keywords of public service radio and television”. The event will be open to the public and will be held on Friday, February 17th at 6pm in the Auditorium on Lugano Campus.

Main themes will be the terms, concepts and strategies that public service radio and television will have to confront themselves with, in a more complex and digitised media landscape.  

David Jordan, BBC director of editorial policies and standards will discourse with EBU (The European Broadcasting Union) Director General Ingrid Deltenre, and Prof. Manuel Puppis, Director of the Institute of Communication Sciences and Media at the University of Fribourg and the Professor of Media Management at USI Matthew Hibberd. Prof. Gabriele Balbi, Vice-Dean of USI Faculty of Communication Sciences will act as moderator of the event.
