Medical research in Switzerland is the epitome of high quality. Does the same thing apply to its Italian speaking region? Could Ticino play an important role in the country thanks to some of its excellence? How will the new USI Faculty of Biomedical Sciences change the scenario? How important is the existence of a fertile ecosystem for research?

On November 27, at 5:30 pm in the Lugano campus auditorium, politicians, institutions, the world of university, research, pharmaceutical industry, and public and private health, will convene to talk about the current situation and perspectives of medical research in Southern Switzerland, and its role as a driver for cantonal healthcare.

This will be the fourth encounter of the series promoted by Fondazione Epatocentro, in collaboration with EOC and USI, with the aim of bringing together annually institutions, politicians, public and private organisations, for an open discussion on relevant themes for the development of healthcare in Ticino.
