Internationalisation at home means bringing global perspectives, practices and resources into the university community — without this depending exclusively on physical mobility. To do so effectively and in a structured way, it is essential to be part of national and international networks that share the same goals and offer opportunities for collaboration, training and the exchange of good practices.
To stay up to date, to contribute where possible with ideas or in shaping the rules of the game, and to maintain meaningful connections, the International Relations and Study Abroad Service participates in the activities of the following interest groups.

Sietar Switzerland
SIETAR Switzerland is a community of individuals and organizations that share an interest, as well as good practices, on the theme of interculturality with a particular attention toward initiatives that support refugees. From september 2024 USI, through the International Relations and Study Abroad Service, has joined this network of professionals.

European Association for International Education (EAIE)
The European Association for International Education (EAIE) is the reference network for the internationalisation sector. The International Relations and Study Abroad Service regularly and actively participates in the annual conferences, which bring together thousands of participants from around the world.
