Sustainability Commission

The Sustainability Commission is an advisory body established by the Rectorate to address sustainability issues, share recommendations, and take necessary action by leveraging the various expertise available at USI and by having a broad and authoritative working group that can generate more generalised approval. It was initially comprised solely of professors and lecturers but has since grown to include two members from the intermediary body, two from the student body, and three from the administrative body. The expansion was intended to ensure representation for the entire USI community. The Pro-Rector for Sustainable Transformation and Equal Opportunities is also a member of the Commission.
