How did you start your career?

Having spent some time at bigger companies, I felt it was time to find out what it is like to work at a start-up.

Why did you choose a career at Cyberhaven?

Initially I got attracted by the used technologies and the world-class engineering team. Now I also know everyone at Cyberhaven is laserfocused on building a quality product that solves relevant problems.

What is your current role/duties?

Usual software engineering stuff. What is unusal is the variety of different technologies to work with every day.

In your opinion, what are the qualities necessary for a successful career at Cyberhaven?

It's always a complex equation, but being flexible, independent, and able to wear many hats are definitely major assets.

What are USI’s positive featuresand qualities?

Although a fairly young university, USI can easily compete with institutions with much longer traditions. There are more and more internationally recognized experts at USI, so the curriculum quality is constantly improving. Also, one of USI's strong points is certainly its international character.

What competences and/or skills acquired in your USI Study Program have been useful/are useful to your professional career?

Taking courses at USI given by visiting professors from Europe's top schools has helped me realize the importance of setting the bar high. Also, studying with people of different cultures has made me more tolerant and willing to accept new ways of thinking.

What is your advice to USI students entering the job market?

Use every opportunity to learn. Never hesitate to break your routine and try something completely new.
