The Student Corporation and the Modern Languages Laboratory at USI are launching an open call for one volunteer moderator for each language to collaborate on “French-, English- and German -language-speaking labs led by students”. The project aims to improve and practice listening and speaking language skills and develop critical conversational skills, which lead to fruitful and healthy discussions.

A high proficiency level in the language (C1/C2) is required.

Interested students may apply via e-mail at [email protected] and [email protected] by 21 December 2022 by sending a brief motivation letter and a language certificate (only for non-native speakers).

Candidates will be then contacted to set up an interview.

At the end of the project, the moderators will receive a certificate of participation.

Do not miss this opportunity to share your language skills with your peers!

The project’s details:

A moderator with a high proficiency level in the language teaches each class to a group of a maximum of four students. Each one-hour class takes place twice per month during Spring Semester of 2023 at the Lugano Campus (6 hours per semester).

The moderator chooses and proposes a topic for the discussions in collaboration with the coordinators and a language teacher.
