Appointed the new Scientific and Academic Commission of the House of Sustainability

The new Scientific and Academic Commission of the House of Sustainability at USI in Airolo was appointed on 7 February 2023. Its purpose is to propose, orientate and approve the educational programme and the activities promoted by the House, ensuring the quality of the proposals put forward by the operational management and acting as an intermediary with the respective Faculties by fostering exchange with them and with other relevant institutions.
The respective deans proposed the Faculty representatives at the request of the Pro-rector for education and students' experience.
At its inaugural meeting on 7 February 2023, the Commission took stock of the state of play. Then, it began defining and approving the model of the courses that will be offered at the House of Sustainability.
The House is scheduled to open in the spring of 2024.
