The Modern Languages Laboratory, in collaboration with the Student Corporation, is launching a call to select volunteer moderators for the project "Italian-, French-, English- and German-language speaking labs led by students". In its third edition, the workshop will provide an opportunity for students to improve and practice listening and speaking skills and develop critical conversational skills, which lead to fruitful and healthy discussions.

A high proficiency level in the language (C1/C2) is required.
Interested students may apply via e-mail at [email protected] by 31 December 2023 by sending a brief motivation letter and a language certificate (only for non-native speakers).
Candidates will then be contacted to set up an interview.
At the end of the project, the moderators will receive a certificate of participation.
Do not miss this opportunity to share your language skills with your peers!

The project’s details:
A moderator with a high proficiency level in the language teaches each class to a group of a maximum of four students. Each one-hour class takes place twice per month during the Spring Semester of 2023 at the Lugano Campus (5 hours per semester).
The moderator chooses and proposes a topic for the discussions in collaboration with the coordinators.
