Students - PIRM
Choosing to do a PIRM thesis is an opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom to real challenges of sustainable development, acquiring green skills.
How to participate to PIRM
Students from the Academy of Architecture and the faculties of Communication, culture and society, Economics and Informatics who are interested in carrying out their thesis work within the context of PIRM are responsible for reading the Directive and Agreement in full, which outline the specific procedure to be followed, as well as their rights and obligations. The following documents are attached in PDF and Word format (on the right in the ‘Attachments’ column) and formatted for filling in the required fields.
- Directive for writing theses within the context of Positive Impact Research Market (PIRM) – Thesis
- USI Positive Impact Research Market (PIRM) Agreement – Thesis
- Letter of recommendation
Please note that:
- Once the external partner has confirmed the thesis to the student, the Agreement must be signed by the student and the external partner.
- The student will send the Agreement to [email protected], and as the third and final party, it will be signed by USI within three weeks. Once the Agreement has been signed by USI, it will be sent back to the student, who will then send it back to the external partner.
In accordance with the approval of the thesis, the Supervisor must approve the Restitution Report, a document or short presentation, in corporate style, containing the main results of the thesis. Below is the template to be followed for drafting the Feedback Report to the external Partner:
