Video Editing with Davinci Resolve
Video is an ever more used instrument in the field of digitalization: the new language of communication that unites moving images with sound to transmit messages. This course aims at equipping students with the essential tools of the video editing program Davinci Resolve.
You will learn how to master this video editing tool from constructing a time line to adding titles and graphics to the final phase of post-production with audio mixing and color correction.
This course requires a laptop with Davinci Resolve installed, a program that is free to use for private individuals. We are happy to help with the installation upon request.

My educational journey at the Accademia di architettura in Mendrisio started in 2015. During my studies I had to possibility to enter into the world of the cinema. This passion has grown to a point that I have started in 2019, together with two colleagues, a small video production studio, Ex Anima.
Today, at the end of my studies, I am happy to pass the competences that I have learned in the last few years to younger students, not only to equip them with a useful skill, but in the hope that I could instill in some of them the same passion that moves my work.

Registration
Online registration is open until 13 June for all USI students enrolled during the academic year 2020-21.
A CHF 15.00 nominal fee is requested to gain access to all courses and activities offered (please refer to the courses and activities descriptions for any requirements for registration and detailed information). In addition, registered students will receive a welcome package.
Places available for courses and activities are limited to guarantee the quality of the offer. They are organised in full compliance with the Federal, Cantonal, and USI COVID-19 provisions. Some courses and activities may be cancelled should a minimum number of participants not be reached. Thank you for your understanding. The programme lineup will be gradually defined due to the ever-evolving health situation.
Registration for courses and activities will be confirmed to the students by the courses or activities' coordinators/teachers/services in charge, which will be available for any reallocations or changes.
