Casa di progetto has reopened

After a few months of hiatus due to the health emergency, the Casa di progetto has reopened in compliance with the hygienic measures and social distancing. Sanitising products are available on site to sanitise hands and buttons before and after use. Only one person at the time is allowed in the container.
USI, SUPSI and the City of Lugano conceived Casa progetto as a place to gather information, meet, and exchange ideas. It is a temporary animated space, regularly updated, that allows an immersive look at the current construction site, the future building and the university centre.
The East Campus - which will open its doors in spring 2021 and will host the Faculty of Informatics and the new Faculty of Biomedical Sciences of USI and the Department of Innovative Technologies of SUPSI - represents one of the great urban changes in Lugano. By straddling the districts of Viganello, Molino Nuovo and Pregassona within a fabric already populated by established academic institutions, it contributes to the growth of a lively and dynamic university centre.
