Start date: 23 August 2021

End date: 28 August 2021

The SSPH+ Summer School in Public Health Policy, Economics, and Management turns 30 this year!

During our last and 29th edition, also fully online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we mastered our skills in online education. After having devoted decades to Public Health capacity building, the SSPH+ LSS was able to break down the boundaries of COVID-19 and borders and reached the widest public ever in our history with 149 participants from 35 countries in the 8 courses offered.

Building on this success and lessons learned, the 2021 Edition - which is also full-digital - includes 15 courses and 10 plenary lectures that address vital issues and crucial topics.  All facilitated by experts from around the globe along with opportunities for networking, discussions, and chat sessions. We also try to accommodate time zones and busy work schedules by holding a mix of live and asynchronous lessons in each of the courses and by filming the plenaries for later viewing.

The 2021 programme is available online at >> SSPH+ LSS 2021/programme

The diversity of participants and facilitators bring people together from across the world and build a bridge between public health theory and practice. And, participants gain access to ongoing networking and sharing for years to come through our dedicated social media alumni group and annual events.

Now, more than ever, in these times of crisis and uncertainty, mutual learning and capacity building is desperately need.
