USI is fostering extraordinary initiatives to innovate and promote educational quality to keep the momentum and energy that has marked the past two years. The "Call for Teaching Innovation Projects" is aimed at faculty members and programmes from all faculties and seeks to support the most outstanding proposals with sums between CHF 3,000 and CHF 25,000.

In the past two years, the restrictions due to COVID-19 have raised interesting opportunities for integrating digital technologies at the level of individual courses, entire programmes and the opportunity for major interventions to support educational innovation. This initiative, promoted by the Rectorate and coordinated by USI's eLab, invites the academic community to submit projects that aim to promote innovation and the quality of education at USI. Two calls are planned for the academic year 2022-2023. Interested parties can submit project proposals by 30 September 2022 (1st call, with response by 17 October 2022) and by 15 December 2022 (2nd call, with response by 16 January 2023).
