Luisa Lambertini visits the Ticino Handball team

Rector Luisa Lambertini, formerly a player with the Italian national handball team, experienced a return to her roots last Sunday, 24 March, when she visited the Ticino handball team. The professor was at the championship match between the cantonal women's Under 14 league and the HSG Mythen-Shooters, held at Scuola Professionale in Biasca and won by Ticino 24-21.
For the occasion, the Rector kicked off the match by throwing the opening pitch and then met up with the ladies of the team led by Antonio Marano, Tina Boyschau, Ivana Sestan and team manager Hans-Peter Freitag.
