Field Projects

The Field Project is a consultancy project for a period of three months conducted by a team of international Master’s students in seven Masters of the Faculties of Communication, Culture and Society; Economics and Informatics. This represents an opportunity to apply their theo­retical knowledge and skills acquired in class to real cases in a professional envi­ronment. Students work in teams under the supervision of a USI Professor and in coordination with the company/institution.

Companies and Institutions can make a proposal to the University for a Field Project in the Finance; Health; Management and Marketing and Informatics areas.

    * For the Master in Finance (MF) the Field Project takes place during the 3rd semester, from September to December.

    We finalised the consultancy Field Project with USI, supported by the Career Service, in which international students applied their theoretical knowledge and skills for class to real cases in a professional environment. Four groups challenged themselves in areas of eCommerce with Napapiji, Metaverse of Vans, sustainability with TNF and Human Resource Management. It was an incredible journey, accompanied by engagement and fresh perspective. Looking forward to what comes next!

     

    Gianmaria Rizzuto Ferrero - Student (Mmg 2016)

    Thanks to the Field project I had the opportunity to get in touch with Ferrero. After the first interview to present what was the field project, they offered me an internship in NYC.
    After the first three months of project I was moved directly into the planning team managing the well know Ferrero Rocher!

    After the Field Project within the Master path, I started to work in the marketing department of Chicco, main brand of Artsana Group, leader in the baby care products, where I had the chance to work both on product (development & marketing) and brand marketing at an international level. Then I moved to Sony Corporation, in the branch of Entertainment, better known as PlayStation.
