Commissions

University Council Commissions

The University Council has permanent commissions and may set up temporary commissions. The commission members are appointed by the Council, with a four-year renewable term of office. The commissions have a preparatory function for the Council's decisions.

The committees of the University Council are:

  • Finance Commission
    Composition and functions are described in the USI Statute.
  • Accreditation Commission
    Composition and functions are described in the USI Statute.
  • Regulations Commission
    Composition and functions are described in the USI Statute.
  • Administration Commission
    Temporary committee pursuant to Art. 10 para. 2 g) of the USI Statute.

 

Internal audit

In the performance of its activities, the University Council is supported by Internal Audit. Internal Audit is an independent audit and advisory body established by the University Council with the aim of improving and protecting USI's organisational value and support it in achieving its objectives through defining. Its composition and functions are described in USI Statute. The operating procedures are specified in the respective Regulations.

 

Academic Senate Commissions

The Academic Senate may set up commissions to which it assigns preliminary tasks. The commissions have no decision-making power.
