L' Asterisco, the podcast promoted by USI students, is now a reality. The student initiative involves creating and sharing in-depth content relevant to the university community.

The project was conceived and realised by Francesco Culici, a student at USI Faculty of Economics, with the collaboration of Francesco Quattrucci, Thomas Seveso and Marco Pagani.

To celebrate the launch of the project, the first season will feature six interviews with USI professors and external guests providing commentary on various topics. The interviews have been prepared over the past few months.

The microphones of L'Asterisco are open to all students of Università della Svizzera italiana. Interested parties can contact the organisers directly to take part in the project. Students can form a working group of 1-5 people and will have the opportunity to air their own programme. Each episode should last 15-20 minutes and have a fixed weekly slot.

All the episodes will be grouped together on the website. They will be aired weekly and divided into two episodes per day. The working groups will be able to record and air their programmes from the studio in Room 131 (Main Building).
The programmes will air live on the YouTube and Twitch platforms and will be edited independently by the students.

L'Asterisco aims to create an integrated environment between students and the academic faculty within the university, by leveraging young people's interest in the podcast format.
