USI Administrative Staff
Administrative staff are entitled to financial support to participate in continuing education opportunities abroad.
The Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP) allows participation in training courses at a European institution or company, regardless of whether it is a USI partner.
If you are interested, please contact the International Relations Service ([email protected]) and confirm with your supervisor whether the activity is permitted and recognized.
All detailed information is available on the Movetia website and accessible here.
Conditions
Eligible mobility formats include training courses, workshops, or job shadowing. Participation in conferences is not admissible.
Funding cannot be granted for scientific activities, but only for teaching or administrative mobilities that contribute to internationalization.
Duration
The stay must last at least two days on-site and a maximum of seven days, including travel time.
Destinations
Participants are responsible for organizing their stay abroad independently. They are free to choose the host organization (a university or, in exceptional cases, a company or another organization).
Grants
Subject to the funds allocated to USI by the Movetia National Agency, eligible costs include travel, accommodation, and meals.
Grants for stays can be consulted on this page.
Scholarships are limited and usually assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
