Internationalisation strategy and goals: Planning 2025-2028
Internationalisation strategy and goals: Planning 2025-2028
The high number of international students, researchers, and academic staff, the strong network of relationships with other Swiss and foreign universities, the offering of study programmes jointly organized with selected partner universities, and the wide range of courses offered in English all attest to USI’s international vocation.
The 2025–2028 strategic plan of the Pro Rectorate for Internationalisation is an extract from USI’s main strategic plan, which can be consulted here (Italian version only)
In addition to traditional responsibilities, and with a proactive approach open to new ideas and challenges in the field of internationalisation, the Pro Rectorate proposes a strategic plan that aims to:
- Consolidate USI’s international position and visibility through targeted measures (e.g., rankings);
- Implement new teaching and mobility models, also aiming to increase student enrolment;
- Leverage aspects of sustainability and digitalization in the international dimension.
The International Relations Service is the operational contact for implementing the plan.
