Would you like to pursue studies or teach and do research in the United States, in almost any field of study?

Would you like to be supported during your application and the admission process, obtain a free J1-visa, and be supported by your American institute for the entire grant period? Would you like to become part of the global community of Fulbright alumni, be connected to the prestigious established community of international and U.S. researchers and academics and form a global network of like-minded people? Are you a well-rounded person who is academically well prepared, active in your community, or even globally engaged, eager to get an insight into U.S. society and values, and ready to meet new people.

Then don’t hesitate any longer and apply for the Fulbright Foreign Student Program or the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program!

The Program offers students with Swiss citizenship and English proficiency funding to pursue studies at the master’s or Ph.D. level. This can be done at any recognized institution of higher education in the United States in any field of study except law and medicine (not including Public Health or medical research), dentistry, and veterinary medicine. The grants are four to ten months in length and not renewable. They are to be used toward the cost of tuition and other academic expenses. In general, a grant for one academic year is about USD 20,000.

Deadline: August 5, 2020
