The Consolidation Grants (CG) are designed to support advanced and solid projects that further collaborations between Switzerland and the East Asia or Southeast Asia region. These grants are based on existing partnerships with the aim to evolve and deepen these relationships. The grants support a range of activities including fieldwork, feasibility studies, conferences, workshops, and the development of long-term partnerships.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include postdoctoral scientists, senior scientists, and professors affiliated with Swiss institutions, and senior academic researchers from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, South Korea, Taiwan, and ASEAN member states. Eligible activities must build on at least one previous joint activity. Applications are open across all scientific disciplines and fields of research.
Funding and duration
The grant provides up to 50,000 CHF for projects lasting up to 12 months. Activities covered include conducting fieldwork, organizing conferences, preparing joint project proposals, and intensifying joint teaching or curriculum developmen

Projects can start as early as 14 October 2024 and no later than 15 November 2024.
