Online information event for professionals of the asylum sector in Ticino

On Monday 12th May 2025, from 12 to 1 p.m., the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), together with Perspektiven Studium, Franklin University Switzerland and Scuola universitaria professionale della Svizzera italiana (SUPSI), is organising an online information event on access to higher education for refugees in Ticino. The event is aimed at professionals accompanying people in the asylum sector, such as social workers, career counsellors, integration offices, etc., as well as people who have asked or have been granted asylum in Switzerland who wish to study at a university in Ticino.
The event will be held in Italian and is free of charge.
Perspektiven - Studium will provide an overview of the general challenges and opportunities for refugee people. Afterwards, the three universities in Ticino will present their respective offers:
- Franklin University Switzerland
- Scuola universitaria professionale della Svizzera italiana (SUPSI)
- Università della Svizzera italiana (USI)
