International Relations Commission
International Relations and Study abroad Service
22 November 2018
The newly founded commission acts as an interface between the university governance and its components, with the aim of contributing to USI internationalization strategy and giving visibility to the activities of the International Relations and Study Abroad Service within the University. On November 22, the Commission met for the first time.
The Commission involves Boas Erez, Rector of USI, four academic members, Prof. Laura Pozzi (Faculty of Informatics), Prof. Riccardo Blumer (Academy of Architecture), Prof. Matthew Hibberd (Faculty of Communication Sciences) and Prof. Paul Schneider (Faculty of Economics), and four members of the International Relations Service (Arianna Imberti Dosi, Fabiana Bernasconi, Ilaria Juon, Maurizia Ruinelli). The Faculty of Biomedicine will designate a representative soon.
During the first meeting, the mandate of the commission has been formally approved. The meeting then revolved around a general overview of mobility, with the aim of aligning the members on the different topics and activities of the Service.
Members of USI's academicy body who wish to highlight or discuss specific academic initiatives related to internationalization, can do so by getting in touch with the commissioner of their respective faculty.
