As of September 2019, in addition to the 3 existing scholarship holders who received an extension, 8 new candidates will spend a year of study/research in Ticino: 4 scholarship holders will be at USI to pursue further studies at doctoral or post-doctoral level in the fields of Architecture (Forms of housing), Informatics (Ubiquitous Computing and Distributed Systems) and Communication sciences (Health communication); 1 will be hosted at the affiliated Institute of Oncology Research to do research on Tumor cell senescence and 3 art students will study Physical Theatre at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri.

Countries of origin include Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Argentina, Cuba, Iran, Brazil, Egypt and Russia.

We welcome them all and hope their studies in Switzerland will be enriching and enjoyable.
