Virtual meetings for mobility: a thought about this experience

International Relations and Study abroad Service

To help our students wrap their heads around a mobility period abroad, the International Relations and Study Abroad Service offered personalized virtual meetings via MS Teams. The meetings replaced the personal advice that the service normally offers on Campus.

In the months of January and February, over 50 students have benefitted from this opportunity. The meetings were the occasion to connect and smile, advise about destinations, discuss more in detail mobility projects, and guide them through the application process.

Many were the questions asked and, very often, the conversation revolved around the risks and uncertainties related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

We were pleased to see that almost all prospective students moved ahead and applied to the mobility program: we hope that students found this opportunity valuable and helpful to make the decision.
