Support of the student association AIESEC for the creation of a cultural event and a workshop

At its last sitting of 29 March 2022, the Student Council has decided to support with a total amount of 1400 CHF the student association AIESEC, a non-profit organization for young people that aim to develop leadership. The funding will be used to support a cultural event that will allow participants to showcase their nation through music, dance, food, customs and other traditions in ordeer to promote mutual understanding and appreciation with a sustainable approach. The association will also offers a workshop aimed at providing professional skills in the job industry through several presentations and networking moments.
Details of the decision
The Student Council supports the project, among other reasons, for its strong relevance with USI education and its cultural value. Furthermore, the project fosters engagement between students of different cultures and promotes personal and social development.
Decision procedure
The Decision was taken by the Student Council unanimously. The credit It will be made available in the form defined in concert with the University when the actual expenses associated with the project are needed.
Deadline for Student Referendum
The deadline to launch a Student Referendum against this Decision is 14 April 2022
