Fees and grants
Tuition fees amount to 4'000 CHF per semester during Academic Year 1 and 2. For students whose official residence was in Switzerland or Liechtenstein at the time of the final high school exam (Maturità), the fees are 2'000 CHF. The semester's fees of 2'000 CHF are also applied to students whose official residence is Campione d'Italia under certain conditions.
Additionally, the students will need to contribute to the French academic taxes, which should be paid directly to Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne:
- Academic Year 1: Annual National university registration fee in France (NURF) of about 250 €
- Academic Year 2: Annual NURF of about 250 € and Contribution de vie étudiante et de campus (CVEC) fee of about 100 €.
For the out-of-course students:
The tuition fee for semester 5 and semester 6 is 500 CHF per semester, whereas the tuition fee for an eventual 7th and 8th semesters is 1000 CHF.
Additionally, the students will need to contribute to the French academic taxes, which should be paid directly to Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne:
- Academic Year 3 and 4: Annual NURF of about 250 €.
Tuition fees are payable at the beginning of each term by the deadline indicated on the invoice. Fee payment is an essential condition for matriculating or renewing one's enrolment.
Grants
For the academic year 2024/25, the Foundation for the Lugano Faculties of the Università della Svizzera italiana will award 60 one-off scholarships of CHF 4'000 each to students admitted to the first year of a Master’s programme offered by the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Informatics, Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society (except the Master in European Studies in Investor Relations and Financial Communication) or Faculty of Biomedical Sciences (only Master in Cognitive Psychology in Health Communication) of USI starting in September 2024.
Call
Students who have been admitted to the Master in Digital Fashion Communication are eligible to apply for a scholarship from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
