D-0323-11 Support to the association ESN Erasmus Student Network Lugano for the initiative "Lausanne-Geneva trip"

At its sitting on 14 March, the Student Council decided to support with 350 CHF a proposal submitted by the student association ESN for a weekend city tour in the French-speaking region of Switzerland. The initiative allows exchange students to discover the cultural characteristics of this specific region of Switzerland as well as encourage new connections between students. The funding requested by the association will be used to support part of the organizational costs of the trip.
Details of the decision
The Student Council supports the project in line with the Corporation's aim to support the initiatives of the Student Associations.
Decision procedure
The Decision was taken by the Student Council unanimously. The partial credit of CHF 350, out of CHF 1400 of the request made by the association will be made available in the form defined in concert with the University when the actual expenses associated with the project are needed.

Deadline for the Student referendum
The deadline to launch a Student Referendum against this Decision is 30 March.
