Guidelines for inclusive teaching and for managing training courses and examinations for students with recognised special educational needs

In order to ensure a fair and inclusive service, in accordance with the provisions of Art. 2 of the Federal Act on the Elimination of Disadvantages for Persons with Disabilities (LDis), the Università della Svizzera italiana supports students who have been recognised, by a specialist recognised in accordance with cantonal guidelines or equivalent guidelines of the country issuing the relevant certificates, as having special educational needs falling within one of the categories listed in Article 1 of the Guidelines on inclusive education and the management of training courses and examinations for students with recognised special educational needs.

The support measures guaranteed by USI and the procedure for requesting them are described in the Guidelines on inclusive education and the management of training courses and examinations for students with recognised special educational needs - effective from 1 January 2026.

The Student Administration Service is available to provide students with further information and personalised advice, in consultation with the Pro-Rector for Education and Students' Experience and the relevant services.

Students at the Faculty of Theology can contact the FTL Equal Opportunities and Quality Service for information and to submit requests.
