An open, inclusive and people-oriented campus

Accessibility is a principle that guarantees equal opportunities and inclusion. The removal of barriers to facilities, services, and information (physical spaces, services, teaching, digital platforms, and communication) is essential for the full and effective participation and inclusion of all people, particularly those with disabilities. 

In line with Strategic Planning 25-28 and the Action Plan for Equal Opportunities, Inclusion and Diversity at USI 2025-2028, Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) is committed to and actively promotes an environment that is attentive to people's needs. It fosters a culture of accessibility, inclusion, and respect for diversity by supporting equal opportunities for access to and participation in study, work, research, and university life, regardless of individual characteristics and by valuing differences as a resource.
