Work/Life Balance

Through the Equal Opportunities Service, USI promotes various programmes and measures to support the work-life balance of male and female employees and students.

Reconciliation measures act on complementary dimensions, taking into account not only the needs dictated by family responsibilities, but also other dimensions of diversity and inclusion linked to the state of health of employees and students and their psycho-physical wellbeing.

Specifically, the reconciliation measures offered by USI include:

  • practical information and advice on parental rights;
  • services, activities and practical information on childcare and support for family carers;
  • access to flexible working and training arrangements;
  • services and practical information for people with disabilities (permanent or temporary) or chronic illnesses;
  • services and practical information for people in dual career couples.
