Accessible and inclusive toilets, breastfeeding rooms, baby changing facilities, first-aid rooms, and care spaces are available on USI campuses.
These spaces, available to both staff and students, are designed to meet the specific personal needs of the university community. This initiative reflects USI's commitment to promoting and supporting personal well-being and care by providing suitable, increasingly inclusive, and accessible environments.

West Campus Lugano
1. Care Room – Room 168
This is a space designed for those who, due to physical, health, or personal needs, require a quiet place to rest during work or study hours.The room, located in Room 168 on the first floor of the Main Building on the West Campus, has been furnished and equipped to ensure comfort and safety. It includes:

a first aid kit

a refrigerator
These facilities are intended to meet the immediate needs of those who use the space.
The room also serves as a Nursing and Breastfeeding Room, offering a private, comfortable, and safe environment for new mothers during their working or study day.2. Bathrooms for the exclusive use of persons with disabilities

East Campus Lugano
On the East Campus, are always available:
1. First Aid Room is always available, located on the ground floor of Sector B.
Inside, you will find:
- a medical couch

This space is designed to meet the immediate needs of those who use it and also serves as a Nursing Room, providing a private and comfortable environment for caregivers.
2. Exclusive use bathrooms for people with disabilities

- Level 2: Sectors A, B, C, D

- Level 4: Sector B, D
