Statistics and data management
The Quality assurance service deals with the management of data and statistics regarding USI focusing on what concerns students and education.
Specifically, the activities regard to:
- the collection and processing of statistical data about students, assistants, doctoral students, teachers, diplomas, services and infrastructures (for further details, Key figures);
- the constant interaction with the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) for the periodical data collection on students and graduates, for the management of the Swiss Higher Education Information System (SHIS) and the ASBOS statistics;
- the development of a system of indicators for university data collection (in collaboration with the Research support service).
