Support to riOSA for realising a "sustainability shelf"

The Student Council, at its meeting of 17 March 2020, has decided to support with the amount of 600 CHF a proposal submitted by the student association riOSA, a chapter of the Students’ Organisation of the Academy active in designing and implementing solutions to promote sustainability on campuses. The proposal consists in the creation of a pink piece of furniture on the Mendrisio campus to encourage the recovery and reuse of leftover materials from the production of models at the Academy of Architecture - click here for more information on the project. The financial aid is specifically aimed at covering the purchase of the required materials. The Student Council supports the project, among other reasons, for its originality, its solid relevance with education and for the sense of responsibility, pragmatism and creativity with which it addresses the issue of sustainability at our University.

Deadline for Student Referendum
The deadline to launch a Student Referendum against this Decision is April 2, 2020.
