Student support to the Photography Lab at the Accademia

The Student Council, at its meeting of 17 March 2020, has decided to support with the amount of 700 CHF a proposal submitted by the Students’ Organisation of the Academy, the umbrella organisation of the students at the Academy of Architecture. The proposal entails the organisation of a workshop on photography, including a prize competition, and the purchase of a high-resolution image scanner for the Photography Lab, where students at the Mendrisio campus can develop their own pictures. The amount is intended to cover the costs of the workshop and the competition prizes (300 CHF) and the purchase of the high-resolution scanner (400 CHF, which can be increased by 10% in case of resorting to an environmentally and/or socially responsible supplier). The Student Council supports the project, among other reasons, because of its interest and educational value and its purpose to improve the university infrastructure.

The deadline to launch a Student Referendum against this Decision is April 2, 2020.
