The Università della Svizzera italiana, through its Equal Opportunities Service, is pleased to host the photographic exhibition ‘Families - exploring the past, imagining the future’ conceived by Pro Familia Svizzera Italiana on the occasion of the 30th international anniversary of the Family.

Through a selection of images that narrate the history of families over the years, the exhibition aims to celebrate the significant achievements in Swiss and Ticino family policy and to raise awareness among politicians, institutions, companies and citizens about the evolution of the family and the need to consciously address the constraints that affect reconciliation, both within the family and at work.

Special attention is devoted to work-life balance, a topic of growing importance, especially for the younger generations.

The exhibition will be on display in the Foyer of the Aula Magna from 10 to 17 March 2025 on the occasion of Sustainability Week 2025. Through the initiative, issues concerning social sustainability, one of the three fundamental pillars of sustainability, together with environmental and economic sustainability, will be shared with the USI community.

Access to the exhibition is free.
