"Lo spazio delle donne" on the occasion of International Women's Day

The Equal Opportunities Service in collaboration with the Institute of Italian Studies proposes a meeting dedicated to International Women's Day, as part of the course “Interdisciplinary approach to gender and diversity”. Following up on the course of readings that took place in the autumn semester of 2024 under the title ‘Lo spazio delle donne’ (Women's Space), a moment of reflection is proposed on the narrative transformations that have affected and still affect women.

The event will take place on 6 March 2025 at 6 p.m. in the Aula Magna of USI.

Programme

• Institutional welcome - Sonja Hildebrand, Vice-Chancellor for Sustainable Transformation and Equal Opportunities
• ‘The feminist word: narrative transformations and pedagogical practices’ - With Vanessa Roghi, independent researcher and author of the recent book “La parola feminista” (Mondadori, 2024), in dialogue with Federica Frediani, Marta Pizzagalli, Sara Sermini and Cecilia Soresina
• ‘Lo spazio delle donne’ (The space of women) - Reading of literary texts by the Laboratory of reading aloud of the student association Il Letterificio, led by Tolja Djokovic

This will be followed by an aperitif at the end and a place to buy the book.

The event is open to the public and organised as part of the Bachelor course “Interdisciplinary approaches to gender and diversity” funded by the BAREVA Foundation.
