On the occasion of the Sexual Harassment Awareness Day 2025, a national campaign promoted by swissuniversities in collaboration with numerous universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of teacher education and research institutes throughout Switzerland with the main objective of raising awareness of the issue of sexual harassment in academic environments, the Equal Opportunities Servive USI and the Gender and Diversity Service SUPSI propose the workshop "Stereotypes, gender prejudice and sexual harassment: how to counter them".

The workshop is open to USI and SUPSI administrative and academic staff and aims to enable them to acquire knowledge and skills to identify gender stereotypes, gender prejudices and to understand when there is sexual harassment and, on the communication and organisational level, to prevent and counteract sexual harassment.
The course will be held by Danuscia Tschudi, senior researcher at the Centre for Competence in Work, Welfare and Society (DEASS), course leader, and Brita Kleindienst, actress and trainer at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri.

To enable interactive and participative teaching, a maximum of 18 participants is proposed for the course.
