Presentation of Initiatives Supporting Women's Careers - For Master's and PhD Female Students

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM, the Equal Opportunities Service will present two initiatives aimed at female Master's students and PhD candidates, designed to support and promote women's careers in professional settings.

During the event, the following programs will be presented:

• BPW-USI Professional Mentoring Program 2025–2026

• The training program "She Leads: Empowered Leaders Shaping the Future"

The BPW-USI Professional Mentoring Program, developed by the Business Professional Women Club Ticino in collaboration with the Equal Opportunities Service, offers personalized support through one-on-one meetings with selected mentors from the BPW network. The goal is to provide practical tools to navigate the transition to the professional world, manage career challenges, and find a balance between personal life and work. The program is based on a one-to-one relationship that emphasizes direct exchange and the experience of the professional mentors involved.

The training program She Leads: Empowered Leaders Shaping the Future, offered by he Equal Opportunities Service in collaboration with EquiLab ​​​​​​ is a unique learning opportunity to explore topics such as inclusive leadership and women's professional development. The program consists of dynamic sessions combining presentations, discussions, simulations, and group activities, fostering active learning and peer-to-peer engagement.
