USI, through the Equal Opportunities Service, is a partner of the H.I.T. Program – “Leadership Program for Female Professors from all Swiss Universities.”The H.I.T. Program is a unique national initiative addressed to female professors from all Swiss universities w.
What the Program offers:
- Leadership training: to develop the skills needed to exercise effective leadership.
- Individual coaching: to receive personalized guidance tailored to one’s leadership journey.
- Peer group sessions: to exchange and share experiences with colleagues from other universities.
- Networking opportunities: to build connections with leaders in the Swiss academic community.
Structure of the H.I.T. Program 2026
The program is delivered in a blended format, combining in-person modules, online sessions, and individual coaching:
- Module 1 (Geneva): 2-day in-person session, 5–6 February 2026
- Module 2 (Lugano): 3-day in-person session, 1–3 June 2026
- Module 3 (St. Gallen): 2-day in-person session, 1–2 October 2026
- Online sessions: 3 March, 5 May, and 25 August 2026, from 15:00 to 16:30 on Zoom
- Two individual coaching sessions: delivered in person and/or online, to be arranged with the coach
Participation costs are fully covered by USI.
The Call for applications for the 2026 edition will remain open from 8 September to 5 October 2025.
