Equal Opportunities Service

Date: 21 April 2026 / 12:15 - 13:15

Online / University of St. Gallen

On 21 April, from 12.15 pm to 1.15 pm, the University of St. Gallen will host the panel discussion “From Awareness to Action: Together Against Sexual Harassment in Higher Education”, organised to mark Sexual Harassment Awareness Day. The event will also be streamed live.

The initiative will bring together experts and representatives from the academic and student communities to address an increasingly urgent issue. Speakers will include Prof. Dirk Baier (ZHAW), Dr Rachel Démolis (actionuni) and Klara Sasse (VSS-UNES-USU), offering complementary perspectives that intertwine gender dimensions with the organisational and hierarchical dynamics specific to the university context.

Ample time will be dedicated to direct discussion with students and young researchers, who are invited to share their experiences, concerns and proposals.

Further information, including the link to stream the event, will be provided shortly.
