On 18 May 2026, USI will host the annual event of the BPW–USI Professional Mentoring Programme, dedicated to female leadership and mentoring as a tool for empowerment.

On Monday, 18 May 2026, at 6:00 p.m., Room A11 of the Red Building (West Campus) will host Breaking Barriers, Building Futures: Women Who Inspire, the annual event of the seventh edition of the BPW–USI Professional Mentoring Programme, promoted by the BPW Business and Professional Women Club Ticino and the Equal Opportunities Service of Università della Svizzera italiana.

The evening will be devoted to stories of outstanding professional journeys, female leadership, and mentoring as a bridge between academia and the professional world — one that fosters dialogue between generations of women leaders and future professionals. Moderated by RSI journalist and presenter Alessandra Maffioli, the event will give voice to women from a variety of sectors, who will share their career paths, the challenges they have faced, and the strategies they have adopted to build successful careers.

The event will mark the closing of the 2025–2026 edition of the Programme and, at the same time, the launch of the 2026–2027 edition.
