On Sexual Harassment Awareness Day (SHAD) 2026, USI is introducing a new training module on iCorsi aimed at students to foster a culture grounded in respect, honesty and responsibility.

The course, available in both Italian and English, addresses the topic of personal integrity in a practical, accessible way. Its content is built around four objectives:

  • presenting the USI Code of Ethics and its Implementing Regulations;
  • clarifying the meaning of integrity in interpersonal relations;
  • equipping students to recognise the various forms of inappropriate behaviour;
  • familiarising them with the resources, procedures and contact persons available for reporting violations.

SHAD is a moment of reflection involving all Swiss universities. Promoted at national level, it calls on the academic community to examine its role in building study, research and work environments rooted in safety and inclusion. USI embraces this mission by offering educational tools that turn its guiding principles – Respect, Reliability, Honesty and Responsibility – into everyday practice.

The module is available on iCorsi at the following link. The Equal Opportunities Service encourages all students to complete it during the semester.
