  • Summer / Winter Schools

    If you are interested in attending a Summer School, please bear in mind that only a maximum of ECTS points can be transferred. In particular, according to the ad hoc regulation for student mobility, students enrolled at the Faculty of Economics (both levels) can earn up to 6 ECTS points, whereas students enrolled at the Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society can earn up to 9 ECTS points, with a maximum of 30 ECTS points obtainable through mobility programmes.

    Think Camp Rural Development: Implementation of Sustainable Strategies for the 21st Century, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, 10-16 July 2022
    Registration deadline: 30 April

    The Think Camp is a traditional activity on international cooperation within the network of the Euroleague for Life Sciences. It is organised by faculties and departments that focus on economics, management and social sciences from CZU Prague, BOKU Vienna, SGGW Warsaw, the University of Hohenheim and the Wageningen University and Research Centre, and in cooperation with the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and the University of Copenhagen. The Think camp is also open to students from other universities. It addresses rural development issues in interdisciplinary views and aims to bring students and teachers from various countries and fields of work together in order to discuss relevant topics, exchange knowledge and experience, improve the quality of students’ work, and improve the skills of students in a practical project.

    2022 Brno International Summer School in Information Technology,

    Turku Åbo Summer School, August 2022

    We invite participants from all over the world to join Turku Åbo Summer School programme in August in one of the most traditional and popular study cities in Finland. We offer 10 topical, wide-ranging and fully accredited courses by five different higher education institutions in Turku region. Most of the courses are taught partly on-site with an independent online part. A couple of the courses are online-based which allows you to study completely in your own rhythm.

    Summer School in Sustainability, Kühne Logistics University, 27 June - 15 July

    Sustainability continues to be a big focus of our university. KLU is uniquely positioned in the university landscape as it brings together deep expertise in theoretical and practical aspects of sustainability from multiple disciplines, ranging from innovation and marketing to supply chain management, leadership, business economics, and logistics. Our main objective for the KLU Summer School is to equip students with valuable knowledge and tools from these different disciplinary angles, while always staying focused on sustainability as the overarching business theme. Next to our educational program, we also want to make sure that your students get to know the German culture. For that, we are planning excursions to other mayor German cities, nature visits and also a beginner’s language course.

    WFI Summer School 2022, Katholisce Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Ingolstadt School of Management, 18 - 29 July 2022
    Application deadline: 20 May 2022
    The Ingolstadt School of Management (WFI) is located in the heart of Bavaria near Munich. Attend high-class academic courses on the role of firms in society, experience interactive real world business insights with entrepreneurial champions, gain insight into German and Bavarian Culture and interact with students and academics around the world. Several travel grants are available too (up to EUR 500). All international applicants apply automatically for these stipends and the selection will be made on the basis of the quality of the application, social criteria and, if applicable, exchange balance with the home university.     International Summer School of Political Ecology 2022 (27 June -1 July 2022)
    The International Summer School of Political Ecology aims to enliven a space to share, debate, and critically reflect on current research, practices, methodologies, and processes for just, inclusive and deliberative transitions to living well within planetary boundaries. The transitions are happening and will have to happen in many fields, but we have selected some that are especially visible: democracy and state, energy and transport, consumption and production, and land use.
