  • Summer / Winter Schools

    If you are interested in attending a Summer School, please bear in mind that only a maximum of ECTS points can be transferred. In particular, according to the ad hoc regulation for student mobility, students enrolled at the Faculty of Economics (both levels) can earn up to 6 ECTS points, whereas students enrolled at the Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society can earn up to 9 ECTS points, with a maximum of 30 ECTS points obtainable through mobility programmes.

    International Staff Week for Teaching, 17-22 January 2022, Kozminski University

    This Staff Week for Teaching is particularly suited for lecturers in the fields of Economics, Finance, Management and will approach contemporary issues on finance and economics, for example:

    • Revolution in taxation - is it needed?
    • International (global) public goods - theoretical issues and practical challenges
    • Expansionary fiscal and monetary policy - is macroeconomic situation sustainable?
    • Counter monopoly policy and customer protection especially in the context of IT markets
    • Fintech vs traditional financial institutions
    • Real economy vs. assets prices fluctuations
    • Pandemic and economic situation in different countries
    • Sustainable Finance: ESG, Green instruments, Circular Economy
    • Corporate’s response to the pandemic

    Staff Training Week, University of Turku, Finland, 30 May - 2 June 2022

    The programme will encourage you to share best practices with peer colleagues and to learn e.g. about mobilities, management of International Office, services offered at the University of Turku, administration of projects and more. Additionally, our social activities will give you the chance to get to know the cities of Turku and Pori as well as the excellent opportunity to get to know the staff of the International Office in Turku and other colleagues from various universities. Participation in our International Staff Exchange Week is possible for colleagues working in international offices and for administrative staff working with mobilities and/or international projects e.g. in the faculty level.
