  • Summer / Winter Schools

    If you are interested in attending a Summer School, please bear in mind that only a maximum of ECTS points can be transferred. In particular, according to the ad hoc regulation for student mobility, students enrolled at the Faculty of Economics (both levels) can earn up to 6 ECTS points, whereas students enrolled at the Faculty of Communication sciences can earn up to 9 ECTS points, with a maximum of 30 ECTS points obtainable through mobility programmes.

    7th International Staff Week at Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic, 19-23 October 2020

    The Staff Week is designed mostly for administrative staff responsible for the international agenda. The purpose of the International Staff week (ISW) is to promote the idea of internationalization and strengthen our international partnership through personal meetings, presentations and workshops. This year is going to be special because the Staff Week will be merged with Brno International Week (BIW 2020), which is held by the Faculty of Business and Management every year in October. The BIW 2020 is dedicated mostly to teaching staff and is focused on global issues in business, management, system engineering and informatics.

    6th International Staff Training Week, Università degli Studi Salerno, 18-22 May 2020

    The program will focus on the Internationalisation of Higher Education Institutions and therefore designed for staff committed to internationalization strategies and opportunities. We do believe that sharing experience and good practice is the best way to improve one’s job and to find new inspiration. We are happy to welcome teaching and non-teaching University Staff with an international perspective so we can learn from each other, consolidate and strengthen current relations and create new partnership.

    International Staff Week, KU Leuven, 4 - 8 May 2020
    Registration deadline: 4 March 2020
    A 5-day programme on "Give meaning to study abroad" including seminars by KU Leuven staff and by guest lecturers, social and cultural activities, and visits to FEB's campuses in Antwerp and Brussels. Explore the baroque beauty of Rubens' hometown of Antwerp and be swept away by the overwhelming grandeur of Brussels' Grand Place, voted the most beautiful square in Europe.

    International Staff Week, Technical University Vienna, 4 - 6 May 2020

    This 3-day event is aimed at bringing together staff from partner institutions in order to strengthen international networks and exchange good practice. It also gives the unique opportunity to find out more about TU Wien, network and share success stories and best practices with other colleagues working for International Offices. The event is targeted at staff working within the Student and Staff International Mobility sector and the programme will include a variety of presentations and discussions. There is no participation fee for attending the staff week and there is already a welcome lunch, coffee and drinks during breaks and a typical Viennese dinner included.

    Staff Training Week Université Paris-Est Créteil, 8 - 12 June 2020

    This staff training week is designed for administrative and academic staff in charge of international affairs / cooperation and international development in central offices or in faculties, laboratories or research units. It will be a great opportunity to exchange on good practices, share insights and discuss international actions. The program will cover institutional presentations, amongst practical and interactive workshops.

    International Staff Training Week "Virtual Exchange for innovation in Education", University of Padua, 15-17 June 2020

    The training week will focus on Virtual Exchange, from an overview on current uses and practices, up to discussions on future developments in the new Erasmus+ Programme, opportunities and challenges. The event represents a unique opportunity to learn, benchmark and network with colleagues from across the globe and is aimed at supporting institutions in making the most out of Virtual Exchange. The Staff Training Week is open to all staff members of our partner and prospective partner universities who work in the field of internationalisation (max 2 participants per institution).

    The event is free of charge. Participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
