At its sitting on 12 March, the Student Council has decided to support various proposals submitted by the student association Ratio:
Ratio Cineforum 2024/25
Monthly Cinema events on philosophical themes. The credit is allocated for catering and film rental.
Conference filosofia per tutti
Public conference. In collaboration with the Istituto di Studi Filosofici and the Facoltà di Teologia di Lugano. The budget is intended for the catering and compensation to the guest speakers.
Ratio Reading Groups 2024/25
Weekly student sessions on various philosophical themes, with some sessions featuring USI faculties participation. The credit is allocated for the dinner provided for the guests.

Decision procedure
A credit of CHF 300 is allocated against the requested CHF 800, the projects are aligned with the priorities of the Corporation, nevertheless, the Council emphasizes the importance of seeking sponsors and external funding due to the limited budget of the Corporation.
The Decision was taken by the Student Council unanimously. The credit will be made available in the form defined in concert with the University when the actual expenses associated with the project are needed.
Deadline for the Student Referendum
The deadline to launch a Student Referendum against this Decision is 11 April.
