At its sitting on 12 March, the Student Council has decided to support  two proposals submitted by the association Student Business Club: 

Meet-up
The organization of a series of monthly events from March to May in collaboration with the USI Start-up Center and the Impact Hub, featuring specialists from various sectors in the field of entrepreneurship. The credit assigned will be used for the catering. 

Pitch Competition
Startup pitching event, in collaboration with USI Startup Center and PSV - Privilège Student Venture. The credit assigned will be used for the catering. 

Setting up student association room 129
Installation of a large screen, audio system, and microphone setup for Video conferencing in the student associations room 129, in collaboration with Blockchain Club, World of Finance, AIESEC Lugano, and USI Voices.

Details of the decision
In consideration of the validity of the presented projects, whose themes are in line with the guidelines of the Corporation, a credit of CHF 1650 is allocated. The importance of seeking sponsors and external funding is emphasized, given the limited budget available to the Corporation.
The Decision was taken by the Student Council unanimously. The credit will be made available in the form defined in concert with the University when the actual expenses associated with the project are needed.

Deadline for the Student Referendum 
The deadline to launch a Student Referendum against this Decision is 11 April.
