D-0324-11 Student Corporation's own project

Decision No: D-0324-11 

At its sitting on 12 March, the Student Council has decided to support, in the name of the Corporation itself, the following projects. 

Fundraising Event for a Scholarship
The Council, considering the project presented by the associations AIESEC and WOF (D-0324-02), particularly commendable and unique, allocates a credit of CHF 750 in support of it. The funds granted are solely intended to finance the scholarship and not initiatives related to it.

Discord Platform
The council has decided to allocate CHF 500 to start a Discord platform to facilitate communication among students and promote inter-faculty connection and interaction between different campuses.
The funds will be allocated upon presentation by the Council of a detailed project and feasibility analysis, including resource utilization and long-term sustainability.

Setting up student association room 129
Upon the initiative of the Student Business Club and numerous other associations (D-0324-08), the Council has decided to equip the association room (room 129) with a large screen and video conferencing system. The council considers this project highly useful for all associations; therefore, it allocates a credit of CHF 600.

Details of the decision
The Decisions were taken by the Student Council unanimously. The credit will be made available in the form defined in concert with the University when the actual expenses associated with the projects are needed.

Deadline for the Student Referendum 
The deadline to launch a Student Referendum against this Decision is 11 April.
