On the occasion of the forthcoming Cantonal Week against Racism - 21-30.03.2025, the Equal Opportunities Service with the International Relations and Mobility Service of USI, in collaboration with SUPSI, Zonaprotetta and the Centre for the Prevention of Discrimination (CPD), are proposing the project ‘A matter of words and images

The theme of racism will be tackled from a scientific as well as an experiential and practical point of view, benefiting from the contribution of various disciplines, such as argumentation, scientific literature and new technologies. The distinct but complementary approaches will contribute to deepening the theme by demonstrating its effects in various fields and phenomena, enabling people to acquire a broader and more informed view of the topic. Through the use of testimonies and narratives of people directly affected by racism it will also be possible to make the reflection even more tangible and concrete.
