Dedicated spaces are available on the Lugano Campuses to meet the specific and personal needs of members of the university community.
This initiative stems from USI’s commitment to promoting and supporting personal well-being and care, by offering suitable environments that are increasingly inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the diverse needs of the community.

On the West Campus, the new Care Room is now available. This space is designed for those who, for physical, health, or personal reasons, need a quiet place to stop and rest during work or study. The room, located in room 168 on the 1st floor of the Main Building of the West Campus, has been furnished and equipped to ensure comfort and safety. Inside, there is a medical couch, an armchair, a first-aid kit, and a refrigerator—tools intended to meet the most immediate needs of its users. The space also serves as a Breastfeeding Room, offering a private, comfortable, and safe environment for new mothers during their work or study day.

On the West Campus, there is also a second Breastfeeding Room located inside the staff restrooms on the 2nd floor.

On the East Campus, the Infirmary Room is always available, located on the ground floor of Sector B. Inside, there is a medical couch, an armchair, and a first-aid kit—tools designed to meet the most immediate needs of its users. This space also serves as a Breastfeeding Room.
