Date: 9 December 2025 / 18:15
Auditorium di Banca Stato a Bellinzona
How can public media contribute to building a culture of equal opportunities?
How do the stories, images, and language used every day shape collective perception and help – or hinder – cultural change toward genuine gender equality?
The event “Reframing Narratives: The Role of Media in Promoting Equality” invites participants to reflect on the power of media in advancing equality and to discuss concrete strategies for making inclusion a reality in the media landscape.
The discussion will be led by Professor Claudia Vaccarone, expert in media and gender and Inclusion Strategy Advisor.
The evening, moderated by Sara Galeazzi, RSI editor, will feature contributions from:
-
Marcella Gantenbein, RSI Diversity and Inclusion Officer and Human Resources Development Specialist
-
Alessandro Marcionni, Head of Fiction and Documentary at RSI and member of the RSI Diversity and Inclusion Group
At the end of the event, the Ermiza Award 2025 will be presented, dedicated to the theme of Equal Opportunities in the Media of Italian-speaking Switzerland.
The conference is open to all interested participants.
